Thanks to a close partnership with GM Marine and following the strictest industry standards, Monsoon engines are produced in a state-of-the-art engine facility in Tennessee. Technology is the key behind our new ultra-clean engines. It all starts with direct injection, which bypasses the air intake manifold and injects fuel directly into the combustion chamber, making for a cleaner, more controlled and complete burn resulting in improved fuel economy.

MONSOON Throttle Control

- 4 throttle control functions available for non-surf models
- Trim Assist – Returns drive to down for launch and return to idle and moves to preset set point above 20mph. Button light indicates system is active.
- Cruise Control – speed is set and maintained at the push of the button. Button light indicates system is active.
- Cruise Speed Up/Down – changes engine cruising RPM by 250rpm increments.
- Surf Models have trim assist only, with the advanced cruise control options integrated into surf system on the Garmin touch-screens.
- Integrated “kill” switch, Neutral Lock out and Trim up/down

The Monsoon line of engines, the 5.3L, and 6.2L, were developed to offer unmatched performance, fuel economy, reliability and sound reduction. The 6.2L even has the lowest sound level at various RPM’s and fuel economy levels comparable to smaller engines. Working with industry leaders like GM ® Marine, Roush ® , Davinci ® , and McLaren Engineering ® to design and perform the research and development necessary to introduce a line of direct injection engines to the boating industry like no other.
