Growing up with boats, I always admired Cobalt’s lines and workmanship. I purchased my first R8 Outboard and absolutely love it. There is plenty of space to bring family, friends, and gear out for a full day of water fun.

When deciding to purchase my new boat I reviewed 3 boats in the 27’ class at the boat show. Regal, Chaparral & Cobalt. We loved our old boat and knew it would be a tough act to follow. Our new Cobalt R6 has stepped up to the challenge and has not disappointed in anyway. The quality of the Cobalt is everything I envisioned. The ride and versatility of the boat is amazing.

This is my 3rd Cobalt and all have been fantastic. But the R6 is by far the best as the electronics are great and the performance surprised me as to how well it responds.
